Demand on Ammonium Sulphate from Southeast Asia has boosted China exports


Supported by increased exports to Southeast Asia, China exported 4.2 million tons of ammonium sulfate from January to July , up 7 percent from the same period compared to last year. Shipments to Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma) and the Philippines accounted for the most.

220,135 tons of Chinese ammonium sulfate was imported to Thainland,total 53,700 tons from  January to July .Vietnam purchased 466,258 tons, up 18% from last year.
Malaysia imported 341,383 tons, an increase of 39%, Myanmar 336,076 tons, an increase of 75%, and the Philippines 298,492 tons, an increase of 31%.
