Fertilizer Coating Machine – Anti-Caking & Controlled Release Solution
The fertilizer coating machine is a specialized equipment designed to apply a uniform protective layer onto the surface of granular fertilizers. This coating layer effectively prevents caking during storage and transportation, controls nutrient release rate, and can add functional ingredients like micronutrients or bio-activators.
The machine adopts rotary drum structure with precision spraying system, suitable for both liquid coating (oils, polymers, anti-caking agents) and powder coating applications. It can be integrated into new or existing fertilizer production lines, from small-scale to industrial capacity.
How It Works
Working Principle
The granular fertilizer enters the rotary drum and is lifted and turned by internal lifting plates, forming an even material curtain. The coating agent (liquid or powder) is sprayed or fed into the drum through a metering system, uniformly covering each granule. The coating then solidifies through natural cooling or assisted drying, forming a stable protective film.
