You are here:
Yes, we support all major international trade terms (Incoterms) including FOB, CIF, and C&F. We work closely with highly experienced freight forwarders and can arrange the most cost-effective shipping solution for your destination port.
To help you make the right decision, here is a simple breakdown of the differences:
1. FOB (Free On Board)
Your Responsibility: You arrange the ocean freight from the port of loading (China) to your destination port, and you pay for the shipping and insurance.
Our Responsibility: We handle all export customs clearance, pack the goods, and load them onto the vessel at the Chinese port.
Best For: Clients who have their own trusted local freight forwarder or who can get better shipping rates from their own logistics partners.
2. CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight)
Your Responsibility: You only need to handle the import customs clearance and local transportation at your destination port.
Our Responsibility: We cover the cost of the goods, the ocean freight, the export documents, and we purchase marine insurance for you.
Best For: Clients who are new to international trade or who do not have a local freight forwarder. We handle the shipping and make sure it arrives safely.
3. C&F (Cost and Freight)
Your Responsibility: You arrange the marine insurance from the port of loading to your destination port. You also handle the import customs clearance and local transportation.
Our Responsibility: We cover the cost of the goods and the ocean freight to your destination port. We handle all export documents.
Best For: Clients who already have their own insurance policy or who prefer to buy insurance locally to save on premium costs.
Which Term Should I Choose?
For a new plant or a large project, we usually recommend CIF or C&F. CIF is convenient because we handle everything. C&F is also a great choice because you have the flexibility to arrange your own insurance according to your local requirements.
Please tell us your destination port. Our sales team will calculate and provide you with the exact FOB, CIF, and C&F quotations so that you can choose the safest and most comfortable option for you.
